The list of cities in Georgia provides an overview of the development of the population of the cities in Georgia .

By far the largest agglomeration in Georgia is Tbilisi with a population of almost 1,300,000. This means that over a third of the country's population is concentrated in the capital region.

The following table contains all cities, their names in German transcription and in Georgian , the results of the census of January 12, 1989, January 17, 2002 and November 5, 2014 (unless otherwise stated, see note on administrative unit, and value in italics) . The higher-level administrative unit ( region or autonomous republic ) to which the city currently belongs is also listed. The capital Tbilisi (common German name; the Georgian name is transcribed Tbilisi ) has a special status and does not belong to any region or autonomous republic. The population figures refer to the actual cities without suburbs.
