List of world cup locations in speed skating

The list of World Cup locations in speed skating contains all the venues of World Cups in speed skating since the first event in the 1985/86 season . The World Cups are organized by the International Skating Union (ISU) and the respective national association and took place in Europe, North America and Asia. So far (as of March 2016 of the 2015/16 season) World Cup races have been held in a total of 51 cities. The venues Davos, Hamar and Östersund are natural ice rinks with open-air rinks, the others are artificial ice rinks. The track length is always 400 m.

So far Norway has the most host cities with eight stadiums, Germany is the country with the most host cities so far. In Berlin and Hamar World Cup took place in two different ice rinks. The World Cup venue Heerenveen has been the only one on the World Cup calendar without interruption since the 1986/87 season, from the 1999/2000, 2000/2001, 2002/03 to 2004/05 season and since 2006/07 two World Cups have been held there in one season. Most of the World Cup races have been held here so far. Most of the World Cup venues were held on open-air rinks with artificial ice rinks and the others on indoor tracks.
