Ginger Fox took first place with her song Hate Me, Love Me, but her career went downhill after the video was produced. Ginger has to perform her song My World at the Pop Music Awards in a few days , but Ginger fired the director of the video. Because of the huge success of the Wade Collins music video, Ginger requires her manager, Leslie Grant, to hire the iCarly team to direct the video. The iCarly team (apart from Sam) is excited about it at first, until they learn that Ginger is completely talented. Ginger can neither sing nor dance; she looks awful and is pretty stupid. In addition, Ginger's manager says that if Ginger doesn't succeed in the Pop Music Awards, Ginger would blame the iCarly team. But the iCarly team has an idea: They let Ginger playback at the Pop Music Awards; they make sure the cameramen don't zoom too close to their face and use a lot of smoke. Although you can tell that Ginger's lip movement doesn't match the song, the audience is thrilled. The iCarly team thinks their comeback success is a mistake as they have no talent, but for some reason people love Ginger.
