Coordinates: 53 ° 34 ′ 26.8 " N , 14 ° 17 ′ 57.1" E
The nature reserve Gottesheide with Schlosssee and Lenzener See is a 1390 hectare nature reserve in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is located southeast of Torgelow , east of Glashütte and was expelled on September 19, 1990.
The purpose of the protection is to maintain and develop a large area of landscape in the southeast of the Vorpommern-Greifswald district . It includes:
- a compression moraine with beech and swamp forests
- the castle lake
- the Lenzener See
- scattered boiler moors
- Parts of the Ueckermünder Heide with pine forests and
- the Martens break, a muddy valley.
The state of the area is assessed as good. The undisturbed and uncut areas can develop largely undisturbed. The water balance of the areas should be improved through individual measures. As part of the construction of the Opal pipeline , a renaturation of the Martens quarry is planned. The protected area can be viewed from forest paths and from the south-westerly grazing cycle path from Glashütte to Pampow.
