The nature reserve Wild Moor near Borken is a 228 hectare wide nature reserve in the municipality of Rothenklempenow in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern . It is located northeast of Pasewalk between the localities of Borken and Glashütte . The nature reserve was designated on October 26, 1983. The purpose of the protection is to preserve a former peat cutting area in the lower Randowbruch with various stages of siltation . The areas are a nationally important spawning area for the moor frog and have a rich bird life. The state of the area is assessed as good, and the water balance needs to be stabilized. The protected area can be viewed from a surrounding path. A notice board on Prahmgrabenweg provides information about the special features of the area.
