Oberauerbach is a district of the town of Neunburg vorm Wald in the Schwandorf district in Bavaria .

geography

Oberauerbach is located in the valley of the Auerbach, which rises about three kilometers further southeast on the 496 m high Bursching. The Auerbach flows further to the northwest through Mitterauerbach and Unterauerbach and flows into the Schwarzach between Schwarzach bei Nabburg and Furthmühle .

history

On March 23, 1913, Oberauerbach was part of the Schwarzhofen parish , consisted of nine houses and had 53 residents.

On December 31, 1990 Oberauerbach had 39 inhabitants and belonged to the parish of Unterauerbach . Evangelical residents belong to the parish of Neunburg vorm Wald.
