Ora is located in the middle of the island of Cyprus at an altitude of 519 meters in the southeastern foothills of the Troodos Mountains , about 38 km southwest of the capital Nicosia , 39 km west of Larnaka and 25 km northeast of Limassol . Places in the vicinity are Agioi Vavatsinias in the north, Lageia in the east, Akapnou and Eptagonia in the Limassol district in the southwest and Melini in the northwest.
