The Polski Związek Piłki Nożnej ( PZPN ) is the Polish football association .

history

The PZPN was founded on December 20, 1919 in Warsaw during the "First Meeting of the 31 Polish Football Clubs". The following football clubs were present at the founding meeting: Cracovia Kraków , Wisła Kraków , RKS Kraków, Czarni Lwów , Pogoń Lwów , Lechia Lwów, ŁKS Łódź , Warta Poznań and Polonia Warszawa . The headquarters were in Krakow from December 22, 1919 to January 14, 1928 , and have been in Warsaw since then. The predecessor of the PZPN was the June 25, 1911 in Lemberg ( Lvov founded and) only in Galicia active Związek Polski Piłki nożnej . On April 20, 1923, Poland became an official member of the World Football Federation at the FIFA Congress in Geneva .
