Prague 7 is an administrative district and a district of the Czech capital Prague . The Prague 7 administrative district includes the two districts of Prague 7 and Prague-Troja . Most of the cadastral municipality Holešovice , about half of Bubeneč and a small part of Libeň belong to the Prague 7 district .

The district is one of the smallest in Prague and is located on the castle side, the largest part nestles like a peninsula in the two bends of the Vltava and extends in the north to Troy, near the zoo. Bound traffic connection to the center of Prague, he is by Metro Line C . Prague 7 is known as the location of the Prague Zoo as well as the stadium of the AC Sparta football club , the DOX art center and the former Veletržní palác exhibition center . The Stromovka and Letná Park parks located here are among the largest in the city.

Letná

Letná is characterized by its green spaces, the Letná Gardens (Czech: Letenské sady), which stretch over the Letná hill of the same name. The viewpoint and meeting point is the former Stalin monument , on which there is now an oversized metronome . The Letná Castle (Letenský zámeček) is also one of the Prague excursion destinations .

Holešovice

A few chimneys and factories are still reminiscent of the 19th century working and industrial area of Holešovice . The building of the Messepalais ( Veletržní palác ), a building in the functional style, is architecturally significant . Today it serves as the museum of the National Gallery.

Bubeneč

Bubeneč is a two-part district that is part of Prague 7 and part of Prague 6 . In the 7th part it is best known as the seat of AC Sparta . It is in the immediate vicinity of the Letná and Stromovka parks.
