Pszczółki ( German Karlshorst ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the urban and rural community Mikołajki ( German Nikolaiken ) in the Powiat Mrągowski ( Sensburg district ).
Geographical location
Pszczółki is located in the eastern center of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , 21 kilometers east of the district town of Mrągowo ( German Sensburg ).
history
Today's hamlet ( Osada in Polish ) was called " Abbau Pszolla " until April 17, 1914 and was then renamed "Karlshorst" after its owner Karl Pszolla and his son Horst . Originally, the small town consisted of a large courtyard and was a residential area within the municipality of Wosnitzen (1938 to 1945 Julienhöfen , Polish Woźnice ) in the East Prussian district of Sensburg . The place has belonged to Poland since 1945 , bears the Polish name form "Pszczółki" and is now a place within the urban and rural municipality Mikołajki (Nikolaiken) in the powiat Mrągowski ( Sensburg district ), until 1998 the Suwałki Voivodeship , since then the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship associated.

Until 1945 Karlshorst was parish in the Evangelical Parish Church of Nikolaiken in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic Church of St. Adalbert Sensburg in the Diocese of Warmia . Today Pszczółki belongs on the Protestant side to the parish Mikołajken in the diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland . On the Catholic side, the place is oriented towards Woźnice , whose parish belongs to the diocese of Ełk in the Polish Catholic Church .

Pszczółki is conveniently located on the important Polish national road 16 (formerly German Reichsstraße 127 ), which runs in a west-east direction through three voivodeships and leads to the Polish-Lithuanian border . Voivodship road 642, coming from the north from Sterławki Wielkie (Groß Stürlack) and Ryn (Rhine) , joins DK 16 in Pszczółki .
There is no connection to the rail network for Pszczółki.
