Raimondo D'Inzeo
Raimondo D'Inzeo (born February 2, 1925 in Poggio Mirteto , Italy ; † November 15, 2013 ) was a successful Italian show jumper who was active from the late 1940s to the late 1970s.
Life
He was an Olympic champion and two-time world champion. Together with his brother Piero , he was the first athlete to take part in eight Olympic Games from 1948 to 1976. This makes him one of the athletes with the most Olympic participations to this day.
As an officer of the Italian Carabinieri on horseback, he always rode in their uniform at tournaments .
