The Rally Jordan 2010 was the third world championship round of the 2010 season. The event took place from April 1st to 3rd. The headquarters was set up on the edge of the Dead Sea about 50 kilometers near the capital Amman .

Race report

Sébastien Loeb (Citroën) won the 56th WRC rally of his career. Only Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) was able to keep up with the reigning world champion at the beginning, but finally had to admit defeat by 35.8 seconds. Petter Solberg came in third and was on the podium for the second time in a row, after his second place in Mexico . Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) was classified in 20th place after repeatedly having technical problems and also struggling with a door opening. Ex-Formula 1 driver Kimi Raikkonen finished eighth and was only the second F1 driver, after Carlos Reutemann , who won world championship points in the world rally championship .

After the Rally Mexico, Xavier Pons won the SWRC class for the second time in a row. He crossed the finish line around 12 minutes before Eyvind Brynildsen and was ten points ahead of the championship table. Rally Sweden winner Per-Gunnar Andersson finished third ahead of Nasser Al-Attiyah , Patrik Sandell and Jari Ketomaa . In the PWRC class , Patrik Flodin won for the second time in the current season ahead of Armindo Araújo with a margin of almost two minutes. Second place was enough for Araújo to keep his lead in the overall standings.
