Terre Alfieri
Under the name Terre Alfieri , white and red wines with controlled designation of origin ( DOC ) are produced in the provinces of Asti and Cuneo in the Piedmont region . The denomination has existed since 2009 and was last updated in 2014.
Growing area
The growing area includes:
- the following municipalities in the province of Asti : Antignano , Celle Enomondo , Cisterna d'Asti , Revigliasco , San Damiano , San Martino Alfieri and Tigliole as well
- Parts of the municipal areas in the province of Cuneo of: Castellinaldo , Govone , Magliano Alfieri and Priocca .

- The white wine "Terre Alfieri Arneis" must be made from at least 85% of the Arneis grape variety . The remaining maximum 15% may be other white grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Piedmont region.
- The red wine "Terre Alfieri Nebbiolo" must be made from at least 85% of the grape variety Nebbiolo . The remaining maximum 15% may be other red grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Piedmont region.
