Collina Torinese
Collina Torinese is a small Italian wine region in the metropolitan city of Turin , Piedmont . The area has had the status of a "controlled designation of origin " ( Denominazione di origine controllata , DOC for short) since October 14, 1999 . The last change to this regulation was made on March 7, 2014.

The following types of wine are produced in the area from the grape varieties mentioned:
- "Collina Torinese rosso" and "Collina Torinese rosso novello": at least 60% Barbera , at least 25% Freisa and a maximum of 15% other red grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Piedmont region.
- “Collina Torinese Barbera”: at least 85% Barbera and a maximum of 15% other red grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Piedmont region.
- "Collina Torinese Bonarda": at least 85% Bonarda and a maximum of 15% other red grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Piedmont region.
- "Collina Torinese Malvasia": at least 85% Malvasia di Schierano and / or Malvasia Nera Lunga and a maximum of 15% other red grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Piedmont region.
- "Collina Torinese Pelaverga" (locally also called "Collina Torinese Cari"): at least 85% Pelaverga and a maximum of 15% other red grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Piedmont region.

- Rosso, Barbera, Bonarda and Malvasia is the cultivation in the districts Andezeno , Arignano , Baldissero Torinese , Brozolo , Brusasco , Casalborgone , Castagneto Po , Castiglione Torinese , Cavagnolo , Chieri , Cinzano , Gassino Torinese , Lauriano , Marentino , Mombello di Torino , Moncalieri , Montaldo Torinese , Monteu da Po , Moriondo Torinese , Pavarolo , Pecetto Torinese , Pino Torinese , Riva presso Chieri , Rivalba, San Raffaele Cimena , San Sebastiano da Po , Sciolze and Verrua Savoia . They are all located in the metropolitan city of Turin .
- Pelaverga is allowed to grow in the municipal areas of Baldissero Torinese, Montaldo Torinese, Pavarolo and in parts of the municipalities of Andezeno, Arignano, Castiglione Torinese, Chieri, Marentino and Pino Torinese.
The Pelaverga grape variety is seldom grown. The winemakers in this area see themselves as niche providers of local specialties.

Collina Torinese Malvasia
- Color : cherry red
- Smell : fresh and fragrant, reminiscent of the origin of the grapes
- Taste : sweet, slightly aromatic
- Alcohol content : at least 10.0% by volume, with a remainder of at least 5.5% potential alcohol content
- Acidity : at least 5.0 g / l
- Dry extract : at least 15.0 g / l
Collina Torinese Pelaverga (also called Collina Torinese Cari)
- Color : cherry red
- Smell : delicate like grapes
- Taste : sweet, pleasant, characteristic
- Alcohol content : at least 10.0% vol., With a balance of at least 5.0% potential alcohol content
