Castiglione Torinese ( Piedmontese Castion ) is a municipality with 6500 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian metropolitan city of Turin (TO), Piedmont region . The Po flows through the urban area.
The municipality consists of the districts Cordova and Tetti Gillardi. Neighboring municipalities are Settimo Torinese , Gassino Torinese , San Mauro Torinese , Baldissero Torinese and Pavarolo . A large part of the urban area is covered by forest. Only a small part is north of the Po; this part is almost entirely taken up by the large wastewater treatment plant in Turin .
The municipality covers an area of 14 km². The town's patron saints are St. Claudius of Condat and St. Dalmatius of Pavia .
