Pavarolo ( Piedmontese Pavareul ) is a municipality with 1127 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian metropolitan city of Turin (TO), Piedmont region .
The neighboring municipalities are Gassino Torinese , Castiglione Torinese , Baldissero Torinese , Montaldo Torinese and Chieri . The municipality covers an area of 4 km².
Pavarolo is known in the art world because the painter Casorati bought a small property here in the 1930s that he used as a studio. After his death, Daphne Maugham , his widow, lived there . Today the Studio Casorati is a memorial, museum and exhibition building.
