Oulx ( Occitan Ols or Ors , Piedmontese Ols , Italian Ulzio ) is a municipality with 3316 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian metropolitan city of Turin (TO), Piedmont region . It is located in the upper Susa Valley and is a member and seat of the mountain commune Comunità Montana Alta Valle di Susa .

Place name
During the Italian fascism the place name was Italianized, from Oulx became Ulzio. In 1945 this change was officially reversed. The Italian name Ulzio is still used frequently.
Partnerships
In 1985, Oulx entered into a partnership with the French commune of Saint-Donat-sur-l'Herbasse in the Drôme department .
