Grugliasco ( Piedmontese Grujasch ) is an Italian municipality with 37,627 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Turin (TO), Piedmont region .

The neighboring municipalities are Turin , Collegno and Rivoli . The municipality covers an area of ​​13 km².

The patron saint of the place is St. Rochus .

On April 29 and 30, 1945, 68 Italian partisans and civilians were killed by retreating German armed forces in Grugliasco and the neighboring municipality of Collegno .

The municipality is the seat of the Scuola di Agraria e Medicina Veterinaria - SAMEV, a branch of the Università degli Studi di Torino with institutes for agricultural sciences, forestry and nutrition, as well as veterinary medicine. SAMEV cooperates with a consortium of well-known European universities, including the Geisenheim University .
