Valgioie ( Piedmontese Valgiòje , Franco-Provencal Voudjiň ) is a municipality with 928 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian metropolitan city of Turin (TO), Piedmont region . It is located 38 km west of Turin .

geography

Valgioie is located in a panoramic position above the Susa Valley , above the Avigliana lakes . It is divided into several village settlements on the road from Giaveno to the Sacra di San Michele monastery , the symbol of the Susa Valley.

The community is a member of the Comunità Montana Val Sangone .

The neighboring municipalities are Sant'Ambrogio di Torino , Chiusa di San Michele , Avigliana, Coazze and Giaveno.
