investment
The underground station is located parallel to the eponymous Lattenkamp in the east and Bebelallee in the west, a few meters north of the Meenkwiese street that runs across it. The facility has a central platform in the embankment. In the middle, two stairs and an elevator lead to the access building at street level. There is a track change south of the platform, which is now mainly used to turn trains in the event of operational disruptions.

The Lattenkamp underground station was built in 1912 and 1913 as part of the construction of an elevated railway line from Kellinghusenstraße to Ohlsdorf, which is now part of the U1 line. The station building with the access to the platform was originally on the Meenkwiese. At the beginning of the 1980s, a tunnel with stairs to the trains was built under the middle of the platform. The original entrance was closed and demolished.
