The Metro Station Kiekut is a stop of the Hamburg subway - U1 in the Schleswig-Holstein community Großhansdorf . The abbreviation of the operating company Hamburger Hochbahn is KI.

investment

The station has an approximately 120 m long central platform in the cut. The station is located a few meters south of the “Bei den Rauhen Bergen” road, which is led over the cut by a bridge . The access is at the northern end of the platform on the street "Barkholt".

The facility is not barrier-free and a renovation is not planned due to insufficient passenger numbers.

history

The station was built around 1915 according to a design by Eugen Göbel , but did not go into operation in 1921 when the electric train service on the Großhansdorfer branch began, but was only opened a year later, at that time without a station building.

The track dismantled for the production of conductor rails after the First World War has not been relocated, which is why there has only been train traffic on one track since the opening.

In 1954 and 1994 the entrance was redesigned.
