Viking Award

The Viking Award is an ice hockey trophy that has been presented annually to the best Swedish player in North America since 1976 . The Swedish ice hockey legionnaires vote on the winner themselves. In the 2004/05 lockout season , the award was not given as almost all players had returned to Sweden for a year.
