Vladimir Milic

Vladimir Milić (born October 23, 1955 in Žegar , Zadar County ) is a former Yugoslav shot putter .

In 1979 he won the Mediterranean Games , in 1980 he finished eighth at the Olympic Games in Moscow .

In 1982 he won the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Milan and was fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Athens . The following year he was fifth at the European Indoor Championships in Budapest , ninth at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki and won bronze at the Mediterranean Games.

He finished seventh at the 1986 European Championships in Stuttgart and the 1987 European Indoor Championships in Liévin.

He was Yugoslavian champion in the shot put six times (1976, 1978–1980, 1985, 1986) and three times in discus throw (1976–1978).
