Nagyar is a village in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary.

A lot of noted people have born here. Like Luby Zsigmond or Karmacsi Bertalan.

Petőfi Sándor wroted his poem "Tisza" here at down of Petőfi-fa.

Kozák Tamás or widely known as Mohatomi, he was born here. He is a Hungarian influencer.

Geography

It covers an area of 15.99 km2 (6 sq mi) and has a population of 630 people (2020).[2]
