Komoro ( Japanese 小 諸 市 , - shi ) is a city in the east of Nagano Prefecture on the Japanese main island of Honshu .

Komoro is north of Saku and southeast of Nagano .
history
Komoro was an old castle town in which various daimyo resided since the 15th century .
On April 1, 1954 , the place was raised with the inclusion of the former communities Minamioi and Mioka to the city.
