Kiso- mura ( Jap. : 木祖村 ) is a village in Kiso-gun in Nagano Prefecture on the Japanese main island of Honshu .

Kiso-mura is located in the north of the Kiso valley. The source of the Kiso is located in the municipality . 3,315 people live in an area of ​​140.46 km² (as of January 1, 2010). Adjacent municipalities are the independent cities ( shi ) Matsumoto and Shiojiri and the city ( machi ) Kiso-machi and the village Asahi .

history
