1000 km race from Zeltweg 1971
The third 1000 km race of Zeltweg , also Austrian 1000 Kilometers, Österreichring, Zeltweg , took place on June 27, 1971 and was the tenth round of the sports car world championship of that year.
The race
At the 1000 km race in 1971, the team was John Wyer to last year's victory repeat. This time, Pedro Rodríguez and Richard Attwood won in a Porsche 917 , two laps ahead of the two Alfa Romeo TT33 / 3 driven by Toine Hezemans / Nino Vaccarella and Nanni Galli / Rolf Stommelen .
