The Adenbach is a two and a half kilometers long orographically right tributary of the Odenbach in the area of ​​the Rhineland-Palatinate districts of Bad Kreuznach and Kusel .

The Adenbach rises in the corridor An der Backmuld at the southern foot of the Krummel hill and at the northern foot of the Sparrow . Its source is at an altitude of 340  m above sea level. NHN in the eastern edge of a deciduous forest and north of the municipality Becherbach lying residential space Rothenbaumerhof . It now flows north past the former Lorenzigrube coal mine , then runs through the corridor An der Grub on the southern edge of the forest through a small island with fields and meadows. Catchment area

The 2.5 km² catchment area of ​​the Moorbach lies in the natural area of the Moschelhöhen , which is a sub-area of ​​the North Palatinate Uplands and thus also part of the Saar-Nahe Uplands . The highest elevation of the catchment area is the Sperbling hill northwest of Becherbach with a height of 380.9  m . Other notable hills are the 350.7  m high Krämmel north of the Rothenbaumerhof, the 344.3  m high Eichelberg located southwest of the Becherbach district of Roth and the Kohlberg located north-west of Ginsweiler with 341.4  m .
