The Saarland Amateur Football League 1976/77 was the 26th season of the Saarland Amateur League , the predecessor of the Saarland Association League . This league represented the substructure of the 2. Bundesliga until 1978 and was therefore third-class in the overall league hierarchy.

Saarland champion was again last year's champion Borussia Neunkirchen , which completed the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga South with second place in the southwest group, which did not entitle to promotion. The FC Oberkirchen and Union Hülzweiler had to dismount after this season in the district league. For the following season 1977/78 came the SSV Überherrn and the SV Bliesen as promoted from the district league, and Röchling Völklingen as relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga South.
