The village of Bach is part of the municipality of Eitorf in the Rhein-Sieg district in southern North Rhine-Westphalia . The village was part of the municipality of Merten until January 1, 1935 .

The place Bach is on the southern bank of the Sieg on the border to Hennef (Sieg) . Neighboring towns are Merten in the west and Mittelscheid (to Hennef) in the south. State road 333 runs through Bach .

The former districts of Happach and Schützenau also belong to Bach .
