Bartın is a province of Turkey on the Black Sea . Its capital is the city of the same name, Bartın .

Bartın was spun off from Zonguldak Province in 1991 . It consists of eight parishes and 263 parishes.

The province has 198,999 inhabitants (as of the end of 2018) on an area of ​​2,330 km². It borders on the province of Zonguldak in the west, on Kastamonu in the east and on Karabük in the south . Amasra, Kurucaşile and especially Inkumu Beach are tourist centers for locals and, in recent years, also for foreign guests.
