Götzmannsgrün is a district of the town of Schwarzenbach an der Saale in the Upper Franconian district of Hof on the western edge of the Förmitztalsperre .

location

Götzmannsgrün is located in the south-western municipality of Schwarzenbach an der Saale. Förbau is to the north and Förmitz to the south . In the west, the municipality of Weißdorf , to which the neighboring villages Albertsreuth and Bärlas belong , is directly connected .

history

The first known mention of Götzmannsgrün comes from July 12, 1361, when Hans von Sparneck with his sons Hans, Rüdiger and Nikol the castle and the village of Sparneck, the goods in "Nymmersdorf" (today Friedmannsdorf), "Götzmannsgrün, Förmitz, Albertsreuth , Meyerhöflein "(today Hallerstein)," Gettengrün "(later Geilengrün)," Losnitz, Straas, Mussen, Poppenreuth, Gottersdorf , Schlegel, Markersreuth, Benk, Wüstenselbitz, Hildbrandsgrün, Reuthlas , Weißlenreuth "and the" Tenth in Jehsen " sold Konrad von Neuberg, who was sitting near Asch, and his wife Petrissa in exchange for redemption within two years for 3000 pounds of Heller .

The Hallerstein Box Office was formed when Margrave Georg Friedrich took over the aristocratic rule Hallerstein on October 27, 1562, with Hallerstein Castle , the associated Meierhof, the villages of Förmitz, Götzmannsgrün, Völkenreuth, Benk, Biengarten, Schweinsbach, four courtyards in Bärlas , two courtyards each in Rieglersreuth, Wundenbach and Hildbrandsgrün - all Bohemian fiefdoms - and a number of imperial lendable goods in Martinlamitz from the Bohemian Count Joachim Schlick for 11,500 thalers. This complex was handed over on May 1, 1563. In 1662 the Hallerstein office included properties in Biengarten, Förmitz, Hallerstein, Götzmannsgrün, Martinlamitz, Benk, Bärlas, Wundenbach, Rieglersreuth, Schweinsbach, Seulbitz and Völkenreuth.

When Margrave Christian Ernst carried out an administrative simplification in 1680, he created higher offices that united administrative districts that were adjacent to one another. Götzmannsgrün belonged to the newly created Oberamt Münchberg-Stockenroth , which was made up of the previous caste offices (responsible for the administration of the sovereign arable land) Münchberg, Stockenroth and Hallerstein. Götzmannsgrün belonged to the caste office Hallerstein.

For reasons of administrative simplification, Margrave Karl Alexander tried to dissolve the upper offices . Because of the many objections, the government did not decide until October 7, 1777 to gradually dissolve the upper offices.

Until the Peace of Teschen on May 13, 1779, many residences and villages remained in fiefdoms with Bohemia. These were the Castle Waldstein , castle and village Sparneck, the seats Stockenroth and Hallerstein with their Belongings and more or less large part of the villages Zell, Reiner Reuth, wholesale and Kleinlositz, Germesreuth, Benk, Förmitz, Götzmann Green, Bärlas, top and Niedermeierhof (one of which went up in Hallerstein, the other, south of Benk near the Lohmühle, went down), Völkenreuth, Mussen, Straas, Poppenreuth, Hildbrandsgrün, Wüstenselbitz, Schieda and the deserted Gettengrün.

From a description by the governor of Hof from 1791, it can be seen that Götzmannsgrün now belonged to the Weißdorf manor with its possessions in Albertsreuth, Eiben, Götzmannsgrün, Bärlas, Posterlitz, Seulbitz and Wulmersreuth. In the same year rule passed from the Principality of Bayreuth to Prussia . In 1807 the village was under the rule of the French Empire, which then sold the area to the Free State of Bavaria in 1810 .

According to Ernst, the place consisted of twelve houses with 17 families or 85 residents in 1868. When the districts and the district offices were founded in 1860, Götzmannsgrün was assigned to the Münchberg district office. When the districts became the districts in 1939, Götzmannsgrün belonged to the Münchberg district . Until 1972, the border between the districts of Münchberg and Hof ran on the northern town limits . The Seulbitz municipality was responsible for the municipal administration at the time . This responsibility ended on April 30, 1978. According to the proposals of the government of Upper Franconia, Götzmannsgrün should be incorporated into Weißdorf on the occasion of the regional reform . Due to the construction of the Förmitztalsperre , however, it was assigned to the city of Schwarzenbach an der Saale, as they did not want to create two zoning plans for the Förmitz reservoir area .

Water production / drinking water

The water extraction systems of the city of Schwarzenbach, with which the town of Götzmannsgrün is connected in 1986, and the associated water rights, the storage capacities with the technical systems as well as the pipe network of the water supply and the distribution network are owned by the "Stadtwerke Schwarzenbach" company. The water is pumped from the following water extraction systems: deep well "Schöne Föhren I", deep well "Schöne Föhren II", deep well "Schöne Föhren III", deep well "Stobersberg", collecting well with two lifting wells at Lamitzgrund, collecting well in Mittelschieda with three springs, one Source at the Hirschbrunnen, two sources in Autengrün , two sources at the Pfarrwiesen, two sources at the Kohlstatt and one source at the Spindelbrunnen and in Martinlamitz a source at the Ringlasbrunnen. In addition, as a precautionary measure, the city's water supply system was connected to the long-distance water supply of Stadtwerke Hof from the Weißenstädter basin with a 900-meter-long composite pipeline to ensure security of supply for the future.

The water extraction systems were not transferred to this company as part of the establishment of the joint company with the city of Münchberg, EMS Energieversorgung. Until 1986 the property in Götzmannsgrün was supplied with drinking water from its own well.

Power supply

The first central power supply for Götzmannsgrün was established in June 1934. Today Bayernwerk Netz GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of the E.ON Group, is responsible for the basic supply of electricity in Götzmannsgrün .

Telephone / fiber optic supply

The first telephone line was put into operation in 1957 by the Deutsche Bundespost. The last property in the village was not equipped with a telephone line until the early 1980s. Thanks to the broadband offensive of the Free State of Bavaria , all households in the village were equipped with a fiber optic connection in 2018.

Church affiliation

Götzmannsgrün was ecclesiastically divided until the middle of the 20th century. The Hohenzollern subjects belonged to the parish Hallerstein, the knightly subjects of an estate in Götzmannsgrün belonged to the nobility. The patronage parish was Weißdorf.

Until 1613 the property of Götzmannsgrün belonged to the parish of Weißdorf. A foundation of the church in Hallerstein was confirmed as a castle chapel as early as 1447. However, the foundation must have been made before 1418. So the Götzmannsgrüner residents went to Hallerstein in the 15th century. In the year 1613 mentioned, Hallerstein then became an independent parish, to which the entire village belonged except for the property mentioned.

The subjects belonging to the Weissdorf manor were parish in Weissdorf according to the parish descriptions from 1676 and 1774. It is not known whether it was more than the one mentioned. As early as 1590, the directory created mentioned this Götzmannsgrüner Hof, which belonged to the Weißdorf manor.

Only in the middle of the 20th century did the property change to the parish Hallerstein, which is now responsible for the evangelical population of the entire village. The Kuratiegemeinde Maria, a Christian helper in Sparneck, is responsible for the Catholics.

In the course of the territorial reform , Albertsreuth was added to the municipality of Weißdorf , while Götzmannsgrün was incorporated into the town of Schwarzenbach an der Saale .
