The Bodenseeufer area (Gmk. Öhningen) is a nature reserve (NSG number 3.058) designated by ordinance of January 19, 1961 in the area of ​​the municipality of Öhningen in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg in Germany .

location

The 106.4 hectare large nature reserve is one of the natural area for Hegau . It consists of two, mainly agricultural sub-areas on Lake Constance as the remains of the still undeveloped shore in the Öhningen district with a shoreline averaging 400 meters wide.

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose is the preservation of the bank area with reed beds , large sedge beds and the species-rich pipe grass meadows with transitions to rush beds .
