Brian Markinson (* in New York ) is a film and television actor living in Canada .

life and career

Markinson was born in New York, but his family is originally from Canada . Markinson grew up in a suburb of Chicago . He first studied acting in London . On his return to the United States , he continued his acting studies at the New York American Academy of Dramatic Arts . Markinson studied together with Elias Koteas , Illeana Douglas and Louis Mustillo , among others . In 1983 he finished his studies. Markinson, Koteas, Douglas and Mustillo were then members of the Academy of Dramatic Arts production company from 1983 to 1984 .

He played in the early 1990s on Broadway in Richard Rodgers Theater in Neil Simon play Lost in Yonkers and was directed by Mike Nichols for Jules Feiffer's Off-Broadway -Stück Elliot Loves cast. He is married to actress Nancy Kerr and has two sons.
