British Open Squash Championships 2003

The British Open 2003 took place from September 29th to October 5th, 2003 in Nottingham , United Kingdom . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2003/04 in the 4 Star category and was endowed with 45,000 US dollars, the women's tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2003/04 and endowed with 26,000 US dollars.

Defending champion for the men was Peter Nicol , who reached the final again this year. There he met David Palmer , who won the game with 15:13, 15:13 and 15: 8. After 2001 it was Palmer's second title win at the British Open. In the women's race, Sarah Fitz-Gerald was the defending champion, but did not take part again. Rachael Grinham won the final against Cassie Jackman 9: 3, 7: 9, 9: 2 and 9: 5.

The field of participants in the men's and women's competition consisted of 16 players each, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Wildcards were not given.
