Hi-Tec British Open 1992

The Hi-Tec British Open 1992 took place from 7th to 13th April 1992 in the London borough of Wembley in the United Kingdom . The venue was the Wembley Conference Center . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 1991/92 and belonged to the PSA Super Series Gold category . The prize money was $ 100,000. The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA Tour 1991/92 .

Defending champion in the men's race was Jahangir Khan , who did not run again. The tournament was decided by Jansher Khan , who defeated Chris Robertson in the final with 9: 7, 10: 9 and 9: 5. Lisa Opie won the women's title last year. In the final, Susan Devoy and Martine Le Moignan faced each other. Devoy prevailed 9: 3, 9: 5 and 9: 3 and won the British Open for the eighth time.

The participant fields consisted of 32 players each, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The best 16 players were seeded.
