The Hi-Tec British Open in 1994 were from 4 to 11 April 1994 London district Wembley in the UK instead. The venue was the Wembley Conference Center . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 1993/94 and belonged to the PSA Super Series Silver category . The prize money was $ 85,000. The women's squash tournament was part of the 1993/94 WSA tour .

Defending champion in the men's race was Jansher Khan , who won the title again, for the third time in a row. In the final he defeated Brett Martin 9: 1, 9: 0, 9:10 and 9: 1. In the women's category, Michelle Martin won her second title in a row. She prevailed in the final against Liz Irving with 9: 1, 9: 5 and 9: 3.

The participant fields consisted of 32 players each, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The best 16 players were seeded for the men and the best eight players for the women.
