Daniel Brosinski (born July 17, 1988 in Karlsruhe ) is a German football player . He prefers to play in defense as a right full-back and is under contract with 1. FSV Mainz 05 .

Life

Brosinski grew up with his siblings in Karlsruhe and did his Abitur at the Otto Hahn Gymnasium, which is certified as an elite school of football , in the Karlsruhe district of Waldstadt .

Career

Brosinski played for SG Siemens Karlsruhe until 2001 and then joined the youth team at Karlsruher SC . In September 2006 he was used in the Regionalliga Süd for the second team of Karlsruher SC for the first time in the adult area; by the end of the 2007/08 season he played a total of 31 games under coach Rainer Krieg . However , he was denied assignments in the professional squad of head coach Edmund Becker .

In the summer break of 2008, Brosinski moved to the first division promoted 1. FC Köln on a free transfer and signed a three-year contract. In the 2008/09 season he was first used three times in the second team of Cologne in the Regionalliga West . He made his Bundesliga debut in the first team of 1. FC Köln on February 21, 2009 in a 2-1 win at Bayern Munich , where he scored the 2-0 goal. By the end of the following season 2009/10 he had a total of 18 appearances in the Bundesliga; in the first half of the 2010/11 season he was no longer used. At the beginning of January 2011 his contract with 1. FC Köln was terminated; Brosinski then signed a contract with SV Wehen Wiesbaden and played in the second half of the 2010/11 third division season all 19 league games in which he scored five goals. In the summer of 2011 he went to second division MSV Duisburg for two seasons . In the summer of 2013 he moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth for free , where he signed a two-year contract. For Fürth, he played all 34 league games in the 2013/14 season and failed with the team at the end of the season in the relegation games to the Bundesliga at Hamburger SV .

For the 2014/15 season , Brosinski went to Bundesliga club 1. FSV Mainz 05 . At Mainz he has been a regular as a right full-back from the start. He completed at least 29 Bundesliga games each season; He was also used in four of the six games in the group stage of the 2016/17 Europa League , from which Mainz was eliminated as third party.

His contract with Mainz 05 runs until 2022.

National team

Daniel Brosinski played for the junior national teams of the DFB from the U-18 to the U-20. In 2007 he qualified for the European Championship in Austria with the U-19 national team around Mesut Özil , Jérôme Boateng and Benedikt Höwedes . However, he did not take part in the tournament; he was on call in the extended squad. Nevertheless, he made the leap to the U-20 national team . In total, he played four times for the U-20s and scored one goal.
