SpVgg Greuther Fürth / names and numbers
This article serves to present important statistics on SpVgg Greuther Fürth , for which there would be little space in the main article. At important points there are links to individual sections of this data collection.
Seasonal balance sheets
- Season : states the playing time and links to the respective championship finals.
- League : Provides the name of the league the club was in during the season and links to it if there is an article or section of its own.
- Level : indicates the division of the league in Roman numerals ; I stands for first class, II for second class, III for third class, IV for fourth class etc.
- Place : Mention the place in the table where the club ended the season. If the German championship was won this year , the cell is highlighted in green ; SpVgg was the reigning champion, is marked with a lighter green .
- S , U and N : states the number of wins, draws and defeats that were achieved in the league during the season.
- Goals : states the number of goals scored and goals conceded. It should also be noted that the number of clubs and thus the number of games in the leagues changed, which means that a comparison is only partially meaningful.
- Points : states the number of points that the club earned during the season. With the two-point rule (until 1995) both the points won and the points of the opponents are given, with the three-point rule (since 1995) only the points earned are given, according to which in the entire table the sorting takes place. Due to the different number of games, the comparison of the scores is only of limited significance.
- Spectators : States the club's average attendance in the season.
- Cup : Indicates how far the club has come in the Tschammer (1935–1943) or DFB Cup (since 1952/53) . Sorting is based on how far the club was from winning. A title win corresponds to 1, a defeat in the final to 2, elimination in the semifinals to 3, etc. Since the mode of the cup has changed frequently, the number and designation of the rounds also differ. n. q. indicates that the club was unable to qualify for the final round. The second team never took part in a DFB Cup finals.
- Comments : Mention the special features of the season, such as participation in a final round (ER).
If there is no information in the tables, it is not known. "-" means that no information is possible, as e.g. B. in the season in question the competition was not held.
