Denis Wladimirowitsch Gurjanow ( Russian Денис Владимирович Гурьянов ; English transcription: Denis Vladimirovich Gurianov or Guryanov ; born June 7, 1997 in Tolyatti ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Dallas Stars from the National Hockey League since May 2016 Farm team , the Texas Stars , plays the winger position in the American Hockey League .
Career
Denis Gurjanow started his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Lada Tolyatti . In the 2014/15 season he made his debut in the KHL. The winger was selected in the first round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft as the twelfth player overall by the Dallas Stars .
In May 2016 Gurjanow was signed by the Dallas Stars on a three-year entry - level contract. On April 9, 2017, the attacker made his debut in the NHL.
International
For Russia , Guryanov took part in the junior division of the World U-17 Hockey Challenge 2014 , U18 Junior World Championship 2015 and U20 Junior World Championship 2017 and won bronze medals with his team in 2014 and 2017.
