Career

Taylor Fedun, who preferred to act in the position of defender, was initially active for the SSAC Lions in the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League from 2002 to 2003 , before playing in the SSAC Athletics jersey in the Alberta Midget Hockey League for the next two years . From 2005 to 2007, the Canadian played in the lower-class Canadian Junior League Alberta Junior Hockey League for the Fort Saskatchewan Traders and Spruce Grove Saints . Fedun then began studying at Princeton University and went on ice for their ice hockey team, the Tigers, in ECAC Hockey . In the 2007/08 season he won the ECAC championship with the team. The defender spent three more years on the university team and was honored with several individual awards during that time. In his final season, he was the team captain of the Princeton Tigers .

Fedun, who had never been drafted , was signed in March 2011 as a free agent by the Edmonton Oilers with a two-year entry contract. For the 2011/12 season, however , he was completely out of play because an injury put him out of action. He finally made his professional debut for the 2012/13 season for their AHL - farm team , the Oklahoma City Barons .

In November 2013, Fedun made his NHL debut in the jersey of the Edmonton Oilers , but spent most of the season in the AHL. After the end of the season, his expiring contract was not extended, so Fedun joined the San Jose Sharks in July 2014 . After a year in San Jose, he signed a new one-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks , which was also not renewed, so he signed another one-year contract with the Buffalo Sabers in July 2016 . After the extension, the Canadian was given to the Dallas Stars in November 2018 . In return, Buffalo receives a seven-round vote for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft , provided Fedun completes at least 25 games for the stars. This condition was subsequently met.
