German TV Prize / Best TV Film / Best Multipart

This article lists the nominations and the winners of the German Television Award in the categories of Best TV Film and Best Multi-Part , which at times represented a common category, since its introduction in 1999. The winners will be determined in a secret vote by an independent jury.

history

The category Best TV Film / Best Multi-Part was awarded from 1999 to 2008. From 2009 to 2014 the best TV film and the best multi-part (2014: best multi-part documentary ) were awarded individually. In 2016 only the category Best TV Film was awarded. Since 2017, both categories ( best TV film and best multi-part ) have been awarded individually again.

Every year three or five nominations will determine a winner. The first prize winner was ZDF's Sperling - Sperling and the Burning Arm , which was awarded the 1999 German Television Prize. The last winner so far in the Best TV Film category is ZDF's Familienfest, and in the Best Multi- Parter category is ARDs , SWRs , BRs , WDRs and MDRs Mitten in Deutschland: NSU , which were honored at the German TV Prize 2017 .
