Doľany (German Lichtau , Hungarian Dolyán ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia about eight kilometers west of the city of Levoča .
The place was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1314 and consists of the main town Doľany (German Lichtau ) and the independent town Roškovce (German Roschkotz ) until 1924 . The place Končany , today part of the municipality Klčov , was part of the municipality from 1882 to 1900, which is why it was officially named Koncsándolyán at that time .
In the village there is a Roman Catholic church from the 18th century (dedicated to the Archangel Michael).
