Drvenik Veli ( Groß-Drvenik - also: Drvenik Veliki , ital. Zirona Grande ) is an island in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea .

Drvenik Veli is 1.8 km from the mainland and is located in the Dalmatian archipelago northwest of the island of Šolta . The island was first inhabited in the 15th century . The coast is mostly rocky, interrupted by a few pebble and sandy beaches. The island is approached several times a day by a ferry of the Croatian line Jadrolinija from Split via Trogir.
