Krapanj is a small island off the coastal town of Šibenik in Croatia .
Location and inhabitants
Krapanj is located 300 meters from the mainland coast near Brodarica and is the smallest and most densely populated island in the Šibenik archipelago and with a maximum height of 1.5 meters also the flattest.

In addition to fishing and agriculture, the residents have made a name for themselves as sponge divers for centuries.
