European Football League 2010

In the 2010 season of the European Football League , a qualifying round with four preliminary round groups will be played, with the first group qualifying for the quarter-finals. In addition, four seeded teams, the semi-finals of the previous year , will join in the quarter-finals .

For Germany , the German champions , the Berlin Adler, will start in Division 2. With a total of four teams, the Danube Dragons (Division 3), Raiffeisen Vikings Vienna (Division 4) in the group games and the Swarco Raiders Tirol , as well as the Turek Graz Giants in the quarter-finals, Austria has the most teams in a nation. In addition, the Czech club Prague Panthers , the 2009 EFAF Cup winner, is another Austrian Football League team represented in the competition.

The EFL started on April 3rd with a home win for the Bergamo Lions against the Valencia Firebats (27:22) and ended on July 4th with the Berlin Adler's victory in the Eurobowl XXIV against the Raiffeisen Vikings Vienna in Vienna in the Casino-Stadion Hohe Wait (34:31).
