The 1929/30 season was the third season of the Elitserien , the highest Swedish ice hockey division . IK Göta became the champion .

In the main round, each of the six teams could only play three games due to the unusually mild winter. The first place in the main round was champion. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
