The Dynamic / Improve Your Pool - Austria Open 2006 was the 79th tournament in the Euro-Tour pool billiards tournament series . It was held from June 8 to 10, 2006 in Rankweil in the 9-ball discipline .

The winner was the Swede Marcus Chamat . In the final he defeated the Dutchman Nick van den Berg 10: 7. The best German was Thomas Engert , who reached the semi-finals.

From the sixteenth finals, the games were played in the knockout system . The 32 participants in these rounds were determined in a double knockout system .
