Evolution of Dance
Evolution of Dance is a music video on the YouTube video portal . It was released on April 6, 2006 and is portrayed by the American Judson Laipply . In the video, Laipply dances to excerpts from well-known pieces of music from the last few decades. The video was viewed over 300 million times (as of November 2017). It was the most watched video on YouTube for two years before it was overtaken by Avril Lavigne's music video Girlfriend . In the meantime, the clip reached third place among the most discussed videos.
During the first wave of success of the video, in which the video was viewed 10,000,000 times within two weeks, there was a lot of media coverage. CNN , MSN , E! And others reported on the video . , USA Today , Good Morning America , NBC and AOL . Laipply now has an online shop where he sells T-shirts, among other things. He also wrote the book Might As Well Dance .
On January 9, 2009, Laipply released the video Evolution of Dance 2 . It was clicked over 23 million times (as of November 2017).
On April 6, 2016, for the 10th anniversary of the first video, the video Evolution of Dance 3 was released. It has been clicked 900,000 times (as of November 2017) so far.
