The Thai FA Cup 2017 ( Thai ไทย เอ ฟ เอ คั พ ) was the 22nd season of a knockout soccer competition in Thailand . The FA Cup was sponsored by Chang and is known as the Chang FA Cup ( Thai ช้าง เอ ฟ เอ คั พ ) for sponsorship purposes . The tournament was organized by the Thai Football Association. 74 clubs were included in the tournament. It started with the qualifying round on April 5, 2017 and ended with the final on November 25, 2017 . The winner qualified for the preliminary round 2 of the AFC Champions League 2018 and the Thailand Champions Cup 2018, where he competes against the champions of the Thai League 2017. .
